Fraternal Order of Police President Robert Lopez was on KBAY Radio today talking about the Fallen Officers Tree that will be displayed at Christmas in the Park Starting Nov. 27th and running through Dec, 2013.  "This is a time for the Families left behind and a time to remember them and they will never be forgotten," as Robert Lopez tells listeners on the KBay Radio show with Sam Van Zandt.

In addition to our tree this year, family, friends and loved ones can sponsor a ornament for a fallen officer they choose, to honor or in memory of someone special. Your donations will go to our wounded officers program with support FOP 52. To learn more go to our wounded officer’s page.

A very special thank you to KBAY Radio talk show host, Sam Van Zandt, for having  Fraternal Order of Police President Robert Lopez on
the show to spread the word about the community tree that will honor our Fallen Officers at Christmas in the Park. We look forward to seeing everyone enjoying the Christmas Tree that will honor our Fallen Officers.

Thank you President Lopez for all your hard work and volunteerism in our community. You are an incredible example of just how law enforcement can bring us all together, and empower it's citizens against crime. Most importantly, I want to thank you for honoring our fallen heroes. Heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep we the public safe. Your memorial Christmas Tree will keep their sacrifice alive in our hearts, memories, and our minds. It is one of the most honorable ways I can think of to show them and their families gratitude for their service and commitment to public safety. I know they will be smiling down from Heaven on their special tree with gratitude to you for honoring them, and their families in this incredible way. God bless and thank you for doing this noble thing.
